Crazy Crab Toast

This bold, buttery toast is stacked high with real crab meat on crispy, golden Texas toast. It’s rich, satisfying, and wildly easy to make β€” the perfect mashup of comfort food and coastal flavor!

The Fish Market's Cheesy Crab Bread is a delectable appetizer featuring a rich blend of crab, cheese, and a hint of garlic, all baked to perfection on a toasted bread base. While the exact recipe from The Fish Market is proprietary, several home cooks have recreated similar versions inspired by the restaurant's dish. Here's a popular rendition:

Ingredients

1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Zest of 1 lemon
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 cup lump crab meat
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp Old Bay
Salt and pepper, to taste
4 slices frozen Texas toast

1. Make Crab Mixture: In a separate bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, seasonings and cheese until well combined. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break up the crab too much. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Assemble: Evenly distribute the crab mixture over the garlic buttered bread.

3. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 8-10 minutes, or until the bread edges are golden brown and the crab mixture is hot.

Serve: Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, then slice into individual servings
