Pepperoni Pull-Apart Rolls
Sometimes, I just lay around and daydream about ways I can upload more pepperoni into my body. I had just been gifted a bunch of Hormel Pepperoni and I had some King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls staring at me from the counter. I didn’t have any cheese except the string variety. Then, inspiration struck.
If you’re looking for the ultimate crowd-pleasing appetizer, these Pepperoni Pull-Apart Rolls are a must-try. Made with Hormel Pepperoni, melty string cheese, and soft, sweet King’s Hawaiian Rolls, this recipe is gooey, cheesy, and perfect for game day, parties, or even a quick family snack. The best part? It comes together in minutes and bakes into a pull-apart bread that’s fun to share.
Ingredients
1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Rolls (12 count)
1 pack Hormel Pepperoni (regular or mini)
6 sticks string cheese (mozzarella works best)
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Marinara sauce for dipping
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Take the package of King’s Hawaiian Rolls and, without separating them, use a sharp knife to slice lengthwise down the middle, creating a slit (like a deep pocket). Don’t cut all the way through because you want them to stay connected at the bottom.
2. Stuff each slit with pieces of string cheese and Hormel Pepperoni slices.
3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture evenly over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese if using.
4. Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with foil. Bake uncovered for 7-10 minutes, until the tops are golden and the cheese is melted.
5. Let cool slightly before pulling apart. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve with warm marinara sauce for dipping.
