Krispy Krab Poke Bowl

As a food content creator I’m always at the grocery store, usually for supplies but sometimes for inspiration.While at Sprouts, I spotted their Krispy Krab Poke Bowl, a colorful mix of crab, rice, and crunchy toppings that I knew immediately I could recreate at home .

This homemade version of the Krispy Krab Poke Bowl takes everything you love from sweet imitation crab, creamy mayo, savory soy, and a heavy dose of fried onion crunchy topping and turns it into the ultimate quick meal. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or meal prep, this poke bowl is budget-friendly, customizable, and packed with flavor.


Ingredients

2 cups cooked white rice (sushi rice preferred)

1 package imitation crab (about 8 oz), shredded or chopped

2-3 tablespoons Japanese mayo (or regular mayo + a splash of rice vinegar)

1 teaspoon soy sauce

1-2 teaspoon sriracha (optional, for heat)

1/4 cup cucumber, diced

lettuce

1/4 cup shredded carrots

1/4 cup avocado, diced

Fried onions (or tempura flakes, panko crumbs)

Garnishes: sliced green onion, sesame seeds, furikake

1. Scoop warm sushi rice into bowls.

2. In a medium bowl, combine shredded imitation crab, Japanese mayo, soy sauce, and sriracha (if using). Mix until creamy.

3. Layer the krab mix over the rice. Add cucumber, edamame, carrots, and avocado.

4. Sprinkle with crispy onions, tempura flakes, or panko crumbs for that signature “krispy” texture.

5. Top with green onions, sesame seeds, or furikake. Enjoy immediately!
