Crazy Crab Sliders
These Crazy Crab Sliders are my easy, shareable spin on that ballpark favorite. Instead of making individual sandwiches, everything gets layered onto King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls and baked together until the tops are golden, the cheese is melted, and the crab filling is warm and creamy.
If you’ve ever had the Crazy Crab sandwich at Oracle Park, you already know why it has such a following. Warm crab, buttery bread, and just enough seasoning to make the crab the star of the show.
They’re great for game day, parties, or anytime you want something that feels a little more special than the usual tray of sliders.
Ingredients
1 package King’s Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls, 12 count
1 pound lump crab meat, picked over for shells
1/3 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chopped parsley, optional
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2. Keep the Hawaiian rolls connected and slice the entire slab horizontally through the middle.
3. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a lightly greased baking dish or on a sheet pan.
4. In a bowl, gently combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Old Bay, garlic powder, black pepper, and green onions. Try not to break the crab meat apart too much.
5. Place the top half of the rolls back on. Mix the melted butter with 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and brush it generously over the tops of the rolls.
6. Cover loosely with foil and bake for about 12 minutes. Remove the foil and bake another 5 to 8 minutes, or until the tops are golden and the cheese is completely melted.
7. Sprinkle with parsley if using, slice into individual sliders, and serve warm.
Perfect for game day!
